Good morning prof, i saw this in the last Gyde Lund newsletter:

Ciancio, O.; Nocentini, S. 2011. *Biodiversity conservation and systemic silviculture: concepts and applications*. Plant Biosyst. 145(2):411-418. Preview: http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/11263504.2011.558705#preview

it may be very interesting for the instruction of new forestry students of Nuoro university (and for personal forestry knowledgement) before the starting of your Forest management course (despite this new conception should be claire from the silviculture course, but…). It is time to put "black on white" about systemic silviculture at an international level. Good, i'd like to be updated about the worldwide forester reaction on this topic.

Good evening Matteo, how is work proceeding?
The article you are referencing is non freely available not even from
within University facilities!! (And the cost is not affordable!!!)
We have to ask the authors if they can give us a copy. Would you ask
directly or do you prefer if I ask?
A presto, rs

I'm about at the half of work of my contract, i have "planned" about 500 ha of 1000. I think that i'm able to finish for the 31st  of March.
About the article, i think it is better if you ask the authors because they are your collegues and friends. I,m just an anonimous in front of them.
OK, now i'm leaving for Alase.

PS - I'm sorry for my english and many thanks for the corrections, i'm writing in EN to keep it in training.

Hello Matteo, so the snow has melt completely in the area that you have
to examine?

Concerning the article. I can assure you (and you have personal
experiences on this aspect) that prof. Ciancio would be delighted to
receive a request directly from one of the Sardegna students he met in
Vallombrosa!

Concerning writing in English, I ask dr. Vagnetti, who receives in CC,
to help us!

A presto, rs

What have i to post on the blog? I think both my current work and my (potential) research interest.

Mt M

PS for prof. Scotti - I'm elaborating the mail to send to prof. Ciancio, either for the article or for explanations about his theory. Despite, currently i have not enough time to write it. I will send to you a copy of message or i can set you in CC if you prefer when the request will be ready.
